City of Lockport Mailed Two Garbage Bills
August 27th, 2011The City Democratic Committee share the frustration of the city tax payers and question the ability of Mayor Tucker's Administration as it fumbles its attempts to privatizes the garbage pick-up, as well as, the fee structure. With constant delays and garbage tote issues associated with the program role out residence are face with a city refuse fee, when in September, a month traditionally when school taxes are due, back to school purchases for our children with the fast approaching hectic holiday season; to compound the problem residence will have to deal with a refuse fee and a second refuse bill from Modern Disposal for the reminder of the year.
