Cuomo, DiNapoli endorse Dyster for re-election / Buffalo News
October 25th, 2011NIAGARAFALLS— Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli on Monday endorsed Mayor Paul A. Dyster for mayor.
"Mayor Dyster has worked hard to control the cost of government for the taxpayers of Niagara Falls and to move along the kinds of development projects and clean industry jobs to Niagara Falls critical to Niagara Falls’ future," Cuomo said in a statement.
Dyster, seeking to become the first Falls mayor to win re-election since 1987, said he was "honored" to have the governor’s support.
"The City of Niagara Falls can be an engine of economic growth for New York State, and the governor’s support is vital to the renewal of our city," Dyster said.
